About Demon
Demon offer broadband. Simple as that. But with 20 years experience in the industry there’s a very good reason they are known as the ‘techie’s choice’ – their service is one of the fastest and most reliable around. Not just the ‘techie’s’ choice, Demon broadband is also popular with home offices and commercial businesses, places where reliability is critical to the day-to-day running of things. To this end they also offer SDSL broadband (which facilitates the fast uploading of data) and also an ‘assured bandwidth’ option which guarantees premier users that their bandwidth doesn’t drop at peak hours.
This and ongoing improvement of their network means that with Demon broadband you might not get the cheapest deal but reliability and quality are, quite literally, assured.
Best Bits
Demon’s Home2+ broadband package (up to 20mb download speed) costs £15.60/month with a 50gb download cap. Not the cheapest but it’s a small price to pay for peace of mind and security!

A bit more about Demon
Founded way back in 1992 Demon is one of the UK’s oldest ISPs. Beginning as a software development company it’s no exaggeration to say that they were instrumental in developing the very concept of the ISP in the UK throughout the 90s. In 1998 Demon was bought by Scottish Telecom which was subsequently rebranded Thus plc. Ten years later in 2008 Thus plc was acquired by Cable & Wireless and Demon remains a Cable & Wireless subsidiary.
