BE are a small company owned by O2 and has been providing fast broadband since 2005. They were the first ISP to provide ADSL2+ that can deliver download speeds up to 24Mbps (about 20Mbps in the real world).
BE broadband has very loyal customers and take pride in communicating regularly with them to help shape their products. BE offer no traffic shaping on their broadband packages which means no single type of traffic is given priority, web pages, music streaming, video or gaming for instance.

Value - 8Mbps downloads, 1.3Mbps upload, a 40GB monthly allowance for £7.50 a month.
Unlimited - 24Mbps downloads, 1.3Mbps upload, static IP address, unlimited usage for £17.88 a month.
Pro - 24Mbps downloads, faster 2.5Mbps upload, static IP address (more available), unlimited usage for £21.97 a month.

Be use their own ADSL2+ equipment in your exchange which is available to most people (they will check for you). This enables them to offer a fast package with no traffic shaping.

Our opinion.
Super fast and unlimited. For the heavy user this is a good broadband only package. Wireless router and super fast connection make this a winner. Other good points to note are 24/7 phone support at a local call rate and no fixed contact length.
